Michael and Carol Ann Schmidt had dreamed of finding a special property that they could live on and use for their family cattle business. Once they saw the ranch in Mead, Washington, just below Green Bluff, they knew it was the right place. This was a big step for them and their three sons Jeremy, Josh, and Nick. But Mike and Carol knew it was the best move for their entire family. So, in the spring of 1999 they purchased 17117 N. Madison Rd. Since then Mike and Carol have poured a lot of hard work and love into their property and are so excited to share it with their community as a brand new Wedding and Event Venue.
Randi Ray Schmidt had a vision for her wedding. She had a plan to look out over the Schmidt Ranch to Mount Spokane as she spoke her vows, have a magical dinner in the field as the sun set, and dance the night away with her family and friends in the barn. As she moved forward to make this vision a reality, she realized that this could be far more than just her wedding spot but a great event location. With knowledge from her experience in service and event planning back in Seattle, Randi has an eye for details and has taken the reigns on this great adventure of creating Schmidt Cattle Co. Events and looks at every event with the excitement and enthusiasm as if it were her own.
